I have a 1984 p dime gold in color and I can't find one to compare any suggestions

    First, welcome to the neighborhood @Ray38ks !

    As a rule, it is best to post good, clear photos with your thread. Though some of the answers you received may be premature, they are probably right (except the first comment by @paddyman98 - shame on you;)) because the same question is often asked here about coins that have been dipped or colored in some way.

    Agree with Paddyman it's still worth a dime. Gold plate does not increase the value.
    Oh, you could prob. find someone willing to give you a quarter for it,
    but it's only worth a dime.
