    l was with friend when he found this "bronze goddess"..on the field without any sign of roman settlement..no coins, no artifacts, no pottery sherds..very very lucky find.he refused every offer , and he kept this lovely statue in his collection..

    Wow, looks authentic...at least I hope it is! Her hands look huge, which is not really unusual, and the patina is nice. It's bronze, right?

    macromius, yes, its bronze..and really, hands are huge, and we been joked, that they look like tennis rackets..typical provincial..but still, very beautiful..
