Eyesee, im sorry if what i said came off rude, but truely, the buyer knows i am underage, and so is he. This is not an issue at all in this case unless one of you report me to ebay.

Thats OK Cody. I have been following this with interest.
I wont report you and I dont think anyone else will either!

Free legal council is worth a hell of a lot of money, believe me!

In the interest of equity and fairness. If the Mods and and admins decide to start a fund for you, I am sure that I can scrounge up a few bucks to toss in.
Us old folks have more money than you!

Leave it as a lesson hard learned and press on with life
You are too young to be dealing with these stressful issues!

And one thing you didnt do is to come clean
If you knew that the buyer was under age why did you not say so?

This label is a good example to use. The PCGS barcode/serial number has a fair bit of easily decoded info on it that can be used once you've seen the BB label. The first 4-6 digits (those digits before the decimal point) are the PCGS Coin Number. Then the next 2 digits is the grade. In this case 97 equates to "environmental Damage", but usually it is a number from 01-70. then there is a slash and the serial number or "Cert ID" which is unique to each coin.

Cody, please get the guy to send you an image of the BB label. If PCGS deemed the coin to be a business strike (which I think is likely after looking at your images) then the first 4 numbers will be 4999, but if it is a proof they will be 5071.

Counting you, Eyesee, there are 3 others with coins, and GDJMSP's generous cash offer for the Cody defense fund, LOL

You've made your point, now either let it go or report him to eBay then let it go. We all heard you the first time.

Every one of you seemed to miss that he is 14 and cannot enter into a legal contract

I wont report him, In fact I will help him!
I will send him a Morgan just to make peace!

Would that make you all happy?

I don't think any of us missed this, but what do you want done? Do you really think that one YN (the buyer) is going to hire a lawyer to sue Cody for selling on eBay?? I doubt it, since the buyer is equally as culpable, since he can't enter into a contarct either.

Just let it go. At this point nothing constructive can come from you continuing to call Cody an outlaw.

This whole thread is very eye opening to say the least. What's not said speaks just as loudly as what is being said. Remember this, for it's true in just about any situation. Only those who are truly innocent should cast stones at the accused... ;) ;) ;) ;)

    Take Care

Nobody is truely innocent. Cody asked for advice and he's getting a load of it.

50% of the 250 dollars. In other words I will give Cody $125.

That being said, another member has contacted me and offered to pay the other $125. So there it is Cody - your problem is solved. You contact me privately and I will see to it that you receive the $250 you need for the refund to put an end to this mess. That is of course assuming that you are going to send the buyer a refund.

I can't believe what I've been reading. I reported this to E-Bay. Let them decide how to handle it. AND...giving someone $250.00 just on his say-so........by the way, I lost $500.00 because someone sold me a MS-60 coin and it was a proof. No wait, maybe it was a PR-70 and I got a MS-60.
    Good bye!

In my opinion, you were completely out of line reporting this to Ebay and really had no ethical authority to do so. That would be up to the buyer and seller to decide, and not some nosey busybody.

Not only is he implying that Cody made this whole thing up but that he is trying to pull a con on here as well. I also agree that swick had no authority to report anything, not his place at all to do so nor do I believe there was such a need from anyone. Good-bye indeed swick, have a nice life on your future endeavors, I wish you the best and appreciate most of the service that you put in on this forum.
