aI found this old coin in a box of mixed foreign coins the other day. The writing at first looks like English but with a closer look it isn't. Some letters are reversed and then there are just odd symbols or something like that. Anyway, it appears to be copper and is 25 mm in diameter and fairly thin. I've lightened the details to better show the detail. I'm not even sure if it's right side up or not. By the way it's a dark slightly rough copper color. So, i would really like to know what it is. Thanks, Mike
My first reaction is that it is a cast token for a game or something, not an actual coin. It doesn't look like anything I'm familiar with.
It is an imitation of a Spanish silver coin of Ferdinand and Isabella. Real ones here: https://www.coinarchives.com/w/results.php?search=isabel+and+fernando
