So, I've had this cute lil fella (and by lil I mean the size of my 2 year old's pinky nail) in my collection for a while and just cannot find from where or whom he was minted. I assume this is Apollo on the obverse with a goat on the reverse. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

Fantastic! That was faster than Alexander's army! Could I ask how you ID so quickly? I use Wild winds and look through images on Google (that and a few books that I have), and this process takes hours for me...if it works at all.

    Go to cngcoins.com.

    Go to research tab.

    Type in apollo goat ae.

(Ae is the abbreviation for bronze)

    Hit search.

Look at the results, they are on three tabs for their different types of sales.

Also try roughly the same at acsearch.com.

These are good places to start.

Thank you so much for the insights. I've fell in love with and have been collecting ancients for the last couple years and just recently stumbled upon this awesome group of like-minded folks. Now I'm just trying to catch up and utilize the many best practices that are freely being shared here.
    Thanks again for knowledge!
