1987 d clad error

    After mid 1982, all Cents were Copper Plated. They don't have a Clad layer.

    Clad coins are Dimes, Quarters, Halves which show a Copper core around the edge.

    So environment damage theres no copper coating its weird looking

    Yes to Environmental Damage but no to missing Copper Plating.. Just a color change on the Copper :yack:

    It's like comparing a new car on the showroom floor (Early Die State) to a used car with 150,000 miles on it (Late Die State).
