I normally focus on Cents but saw this dime and noticed it was blurry except for the center design Obv & rev. When I zoom in it looked like some number/letter doubling. Thoughts?

Misaligned obverse and from a badly deteriorated die, but sorry, not an error.

Is there significance to the trough at the bottom of the coin? It looks like the planchet was damaged or missing material.

As the die wore out metal was being pushed around to places it did not belong. You will see this effect on most dates recently coming from Philly. They just do not quit a die when it's time. That, plus poor quality control. Rare to see this happening from Denver coins.

Yeah, Philly abuses the dies for dime production. They think these dies are like the energizer bunny.

Even the die chips and cracks on the top left of the cent shield every year. Most of the quarters also have lots of chip and cracks, especially at the base of Washington's bust. Reverse chips on the quarter are the norm for Philly.

That coin came from one, really worn and abused die set that should have been retired long before it struck your coin. Unfortunately, it's only worth face value, but I've been known to save "interesting" examples like this
