It is a Sacajawea Dollar. No edge lettering on those. That’s why the slab says 2000-10

I didn't realize the edge lettering went on before the minting.
They made Pres dollars from 2007-2016 with the same planchets.

"The blanks and planchets used for the Presidential Dollar series are exactly the same as those used for the Sacagawea Dollars. Therefore, they are indistinguishable from one another, that is, unless the Presidential Dollar blank or planchet was run through the edge lettering machine."

BTW I also picked up a half dozen ancients I will be posting on the correct thread. They did not know what to make of them at the thrift shop so I offered them a dollar each. Just in case anyone is interested.

Even slabbing such planchet / blank would cost more than 5 dollars. Nice buy!

It's fun indeed, when some other poor schmoe picks up the fee.......:)
