1964 D struck through??

    It is really hard to say one way or the other from just photos.Does the indent have any undercut? I would suspect Lamination if it does. If the indent has just straight sides it is more likely a strikethrough or PMD.
    Is there any damage to the reverse side opposite the indent?

    IMHO.. Could be an issue with a slight Defective Planchet. Just a small fissure that occurred during production of the copper metal sheets used to cut out blanks.
