Fake draped bust dollar, right?

    Oh I see some denticles now. I didn't before. Thanks for the photo.

    Yes it has denticales, but nothing like the ones it should have. It also has a well defined rim from being struck in a close collar, something that wasn't used US coins until around 1834 and not on large coins til 1836.

    My eyes were drawn to the nose, not the bust, hee hee hee, dead giveaway for me....:nailbiting:;) not only a bad fake but a butt ugly fake:yack:

  7. you got to be carefull with older dollers on eban, I got a seated doller on ebay and when I got it in hand I knew it was face just by holding it. light as a feather. looked good but about half the weight of a real one. notified ebay and got a full refund and the seller was banished from ebay.

    That’s the worst looking fake bust dollar I ever seen and I seen some horrible ones
