Henry VI AR Groat. Calais mint.
Henry VI Groat.jpg It's a pretty eclectic mix of periods and coin types. It was pretty hard to pick a top 10.

That’s a pleasing all-silver list. The Vespasian Judaea Capta is tops for me.

That's a lot of 12 Caesars for one year! All great reverse types, and that left-facing Titus portrait is killer. Great medievals too, esp. the groat. Great way to get an affordable William I too!

    I like 'em all.

I'm a Capricorn, so you know I approve of that one. (I had to add the Vespasian posthumous capricorn denarius in my Eclectic Box for that reason.) Have never had the Augustus type. Great coin!

That's a very sweet Judaea Capta, too.

As to the medievals, hey... Billy the Conk. Wow. Is it repaired? Wondering about the apparent flan crack. Regardless, it's Billy the Conk, right? Tough coin.

That is a nice group of denarii, alde:).
Just the type of imperial silver that I like.
The Judaea denarius is particularly nice.

Great set of coins @alde I like the mix of Roman and Medievals. The Titus denarius with the elephant reverse is a real pleasing coin. Same goes for the Vespasian with the reverse SPQR too.

Wow!! What a terrific selection!! Huge congrats @alde !!!

I'd happily add ALL of your roman coins (especially the Augustan and Judea Capta)....and that gorgeous Henry VI Groat to my collection!!

I only have one example of those you posted:

Very nice @alde ! Really fun to see your cool Top 10! The first seven I would easily pull into my collection. The Medievals are a new area with me where I have very limited coins. They are also great coins!

I wonder if your Augustus' Biga in Temple represents a Triumph... Nice

Here is a Triumph for your Triumph:

Methinks I am sorely lacking in the elephant department.

Since I picked up a Judaea Capta this year, I know from extensive comparison shopping what a premium they command in the finer grades. Yours has a remarkably detailed reverse. One doesn't see too many of these in which you can actually make out the eyes, nose, and mouth of the captured Judaea/Jewess. Impressive!

His in the OP is a sight better than the one I had in my old Twelve Caesars set, for sure.
