    V. Kurt Bellman Yes, I'm blunt! Get over your "feeeeelings".

I'd say eventually, but not soon.

I guess it depends more on the price of silver than it does on the numismatic value. Personally, I would rather have a real hockey puck signed by Orr or Gretzky. I wouldn't hold my breath.

Most consider these issues plain ol' bullion, but there are many collectors of these pieces. As to whether or not they'll go up in price? They're basically tied to the price of bullion, but I can see a premium being added for one who does collect these, although a bit down the road. I silver bullion tanks, then I see all bets are off....

The basic MS65 seems to be tied to the value of silver, with a few exceptions. The 2012 P Hawaii is listed at $650.00 in MS65. After that there is an increase in these in MS70 and most times doubled from the MS65. So, there is some hope for these.

The "P" mint ATB 5oz silver is very different that the regular bullion no mint mark coins. A bullion no mint mark (NMM) MS70 is almost unheard of. While SP70 for the "P" is almost the norm. So a MS70 NMM DMPL can be more valuable than a SP70 P of the same year. IMHO if you are going after the "P" ATBs go only for the SP70 examples. Personally I go for the slabbed NMM ATBs. In many cases an MS69 NMM is rarer than a P SP70. And I think, that in this case, the PCGS and NGC populations reports for the SP70s, the real numbers, are much higher because a lot of those SP70s are out there, but they just haven't been sent in to be slabbed. They are just sitting around, still in their mint issued boxes. Waiting to come up at the right time in the future. Not the case with the bullion coins.

One thing Richard (and it don't bother me at all, but does get some members knickers bunched up)........the typing in caps thingo. To many, caps translates into 'shouting', and it annoys some folks. Just givin' you a heads up so you don't get bushwhacked down the road. :)
