I found a nickel a while back. Locked normal on the back but the front looked like it was mostly ground away. Last week I found another with no back but a weak front. The left one is 4.87 grams, the right one is 4.65 grams I'm thinking these are strike errors but not sure how? Any ideas
Sorry. But none are Strike or Mint Errors Just PMD - Post Mint Damage Both were damaged outside of the Mint
Like paddy said, both are PMD. The one on the right looks like someone used a wire wheel or wire brush as a drill attachment or grinding wheel attachment. Chris
