I found a nickel a while back. Locked normal on the back but the front looked like it was mostly ground away. Last week I found another with no back but a weak front.

The left one is 4.87 grams, the right one is 4.65 grams IMG_20171210_145600995.jpg IMG_20171210_145618459_TOP.jpg

I'm thinking these are strike errors but not sure how? Any ideas

Sorry. But none are Strike or Mint Errors
Just PMD - Post Mint Damage
Both were damaged outside of the Mint :yack:

Like paddy said, both are PMD. The one on the right looks like someone used a wire wheel or wire brush as a drill attachment or grinding wheel attachment.

Thanks for the input guys, just thought with the smooth sides on both of them that they weren't "pressed". Thank you
