Im just really curious what it is. Looks like when a hot glue gun has a little string. But this is copper and very small on the cent.

Appears to be a die crack. Very common.

I can't tell a thing from that photo. It's too small. Do you have photo-editing software?

    Agreed.
Which is why Chris generously provided you with a link to such software. While not personally familiar with the free programs, others certainly seem to make good use of and are quite fond them. At the very least it's worth checking out.

Edited: if using a mobile device, I would suggest looking into Lightroom. While nowhere near as complete as the computer version, for quick and basic jpeg editing, it's both very easy and quite useful (as well as free).

I too am on the slow side of adopting newer technology, and oddly enough wasn't even aware of the Lightroom app until just happening to stumble upon it even though I've had a desktop version for a number of years. There will be a learning curve, but once you figure it out, it's really very easy for such basic editing purposes and can be used offline as well. Best of luck and welcome to the forum!

    V. Kurt Bellman Yes, I'm blunt! Get over your "feeeeelings".

And on another thread, we have a guy who is jonesing to come up with a die crack and keeps striking out. Oh, the humanity!

Absolutely! Just because something is common and/or not worthy of premiums, this in no way means it's not neat or perfectly collectible. There's no doubt in my mind the other gent would agree.

Please do feel free to share any other finds. :)

Great attitude! Collecting should be about learning and enjoyment, too many only focus on the dollar value. Thank you!
