2 banks tonight yielded $530 in MWR halves. The one bank where I bought $500 worth has NEVER produced a silver coin since I started picking up halves there 4 years ago, but as a result of a Christmas miracle, this changed tonight:

    1, worn ‘65 JFK!!!
(I’m confident if someone had been only edge checking they would have missed this silver coin)
    Plus 1 NIFC

The other $30 from a bank that has produced a few silver halves in MWRs in the past yielded only a ‘91S clad proof.

    I’m satisfied :)

    HH everyone.

Picked up an unusual batch of quarters from the charitable organization thrift store that lets me buy and search their cash register change. They emptied out their gumball machine after about 1 year. Gave me a box full of quarters to go through. By weight alone (33 Lbs), I estimate the total to be ~$660. Here's hoping some silver bought a few gumballs! I'll also be trying to find some of the errors that @PortEwenAce is so famous for finding!!!! This is going to take awhile......

Another box of halves with no silver. But it wasn't a total loss as I pulled our four NIFC's: 02P, 03P, 11D, and 15D.

So far, in Halves, I'm averaging one silver or NIFC in every 5 rolls.

Well my second 4 boxes for this week are all skunks. I had 7 halves I have marked which 3 of them were marked by me several times. There is always tomorrow and I need 7 pieces to reach my weekly goal. Good luck everyone.

I've made it through 1 of 4 boxes of cents for the week and opened all the rolls of the 2nd box. Nothing spectacular but there are a ton of beautiful red 1968-S cents. So far I’ve pulled almost a full roll of them. Will post a picture once I’m finished with all the boxes.

Today I found a 1952 Portuguese Angolan 20 Escudos silver coin in a Loomis MWR in a half dollar box. I measured it at 30.5 mm in diameter, 1.5 mm thick, and weighed it at 9.83 grams. According to internet research it is 72% silver. One of my more unusual CRH finds. E6E7A746-FEED-4512-91EF-834B736EA6B6.jpeg BBE5312F-2249-40E3-B28B-EEDD1820EBDF.jpeg

A box of nickels yesterday produced 5 various silver coins, 2 proof nickels and this 1954 S/D. I was pleased! IMG_0568.JPG IMG_0571.JPG

I have 2 boxes of halves waiting on me. But I’m home with my son who has the flu. I’ll have to get them in the AM. These will be numbers 7 and 8. I really hope to end the skunk streak that has plagued my half box searching since it’s inauguration.

Still finishing the 4th boxes of cents for the week but I had to share about the 3rd box. I ended up with 64 beautiful, red, 1968-S cents, 21 wheats (including 15P, 23P, and 29P) and 4 1943 Steelies. 06DEC17 1915 Wheat.jpg 06DEC17 Steel Roll.jpg 06DEC17 Steel Cents.jpg

Me so sad, last four boxes for this week all skunks that is 8 in a row, sure hope I am not on a 43 box skunk streak! YIKES! Shouldn't even type that. Wishing you all the best of luck on what ever type of CRH you engage in. Hope you all score awesome amounts of silver or the coins you are looking for.

3 banks tonight yielded only $2 in the loose halves...nada.
