Here is a more scarce issue of Septimius Severus, from 196AD. ADVENTVI AVG FELISSIMO celebrates the return of Septimius to Rome before he set off to destroy the forces of Clodius Albinus, his now spurned Caesar/successor. In the IMP VII issue, there is the celebration of the elevation of Caracalla to Caesar and heir presumptive. With Clodius Albinus having been previously named Caesar and heir presumptive, this caused all sorts of consternation in Rome. According to RIC, the crowds implored Septimius to keep Albinus as his Caesar and heir versus his son, Caracalla, still a boy.
While the ADVENTVI issue celebrated Septimius' return to Rome, the related MVNIFICENTIA issue is important as a follow up as Septimius held games and distributed a largesse to the citizens while in the capitol city. Until his defeat of Clodius Albinus in Lugdunum in 197, these measures were important means of keeping Rome stable and in his pocket until he could return after the defeat of Clodius Albinus and kill all of the folks remaining who dared oppose him.

I must thank @Mat for his keen eyesight in spotting this coin for me. I had not even seen a coin of this reverse type for sale in my price bracket before.

As per usual, here is the updated Septimius page with this coin included.
