Welcome to CT Richard. But without photos you will not be able to get any useful info from anyone. Waiting to see some photos.

Click on "Upload a File". It's right next to "Post Reply".

A photo is really needed. Put a photo on your computer in a file that you can easily find. Then write the text about it and before you send it ,press the middle button ( next to Post reply). The file will be uploaded to your posting. THEN press show full size and it will expand. If too large or fuzzy, delete it and try with a different photo. When satisfied, press the post reply button.

It did not come from the Bureau of Engraving & Printing this way. Someone added it after it was made. Check with @mpcusa , maybe seen one like it in his travels.

It's a rubber stamp that someone stamped on it. It did not leave the press looking like that. Sorry!

I've decorated $1.00 notes in the past. Some with Chinese symbols, some "Postage Rates Are Too High" ( If I did that on my mail it probably would not get delivered). I also have a beautiful rendition of an eagle I have used. And then there is the "Where's George" bills that can be tracked online.

Yup, that star was added to the note after it entered circulation.

Desertgem, would you please reply to my request for help posting pictures of my coins if that is something that you do? I messaged the contact in my latest email about the current listings, and have not received any reply.
I do not have the Upload a file button below the text box. I have 'post reply' and 'more options' only. If you're not responsible for helping me, could you please let someone know I'd like to post pictures but I can't.
I did respond to the verification message. However, it is still at the top of the page every time I visit the site.
I apologize for posting this request here. It was your latest post.

I noticed that you have 6 posts. Several features only kick in after 10 posts to prevent robots from constantly messing things up, and I know one can't pm ( coversations ) until then, and maybe posting photos also. I can't alter that but will report it. Jim

Sorry you're having problems. The reason you are is because when you registered here at CT you did not respond to the Confirmation that was sent to you. And yes, I just checked right now to confirm that is the case.

If you still have that Confirmation email that CT sent you, respond to it now. Pretty sure all you have to do is click on a link in the email. Do that and your problems will go away.

If you do not have the original confirmation email then do this. Go into your preferences and change your email address. That will cause a new confirmation email from CT to be sent to you. Make sure you respond to it ! The only thing that is needed to fix your problem is for you to confirm your email address.

Now, once you do that, you can either keep your new email address, or if you prefer you can change it back to your original email address - meaning the one we have on file for you now. If you do change it back that will trigger a new confirmation email from CT for your old email address. Once you get it, make sure you respond and confirm that email address. And you will be able to do anything all other members can do.

I realize this may sound like a round about way of doing things. But it will work ! It will solve your problem. If I had the ability to just fix it for you, I would, but I do not.

You should not be having any problem as your email has been confirmed. That leads me to think that you are merely doing something wrong when you try to upload pics. Doing so is quite easy. Look at the screenshot below -

    upload_2017-12-5_14-25-45.png

See that button that says Upload a File - all you have to do to upload a pic is click on that. Then select the picture you want to post from your files on your computer - and post it. All there is to it.

If you are having some other kind of problem then start a thread in the Support and Feedback section and I will respond there to help you solve it.

Thank you. I did respond on October 31, but I'll certainly have the confirmation email resent and respond to it.
