I've run across an interesting 18th century Brazilian copper at a local coin show. It has a 6 countermark punched on one side and a 6 & a 9 punched on the other. The marks are about 6-9 mm high. Any Brazilian experts know what this means? This piece is sin escudete {without counterstamp} which means it was produced in Portugal and not intended for export to Brazil. It's also quite high grade. For some reason, I've have trouble locating any of these in auction archives. Info on 19th century coppers is not needed, I'm quite familiar with these more recent ones. Any help would be appreciated.

Unfortunately it's not my coin. It's available for sale but since the dealer let me photo 2 other coins of his I decided not to push it w/ a 3rd.
