I "need" an unpatinated Paulina Sestertius, but this offer looks like a cast to me (for example, it has a worn portrait but complete legends). Weight is a little heavy at 24,2 gr, maximum diameter is 33 mm
    What do you think?

Is that a casting seam and casting bubbles in between 8 and 10 o'clock on reverse?

Could be, but all I have so far are those seller´s pictures.

Meanwhile I found the following genuine (?) coin which comes close to being a die match:

It doesn’t look obviously fake to me.

Why would you need an unpatinated version btw? Patina adds to the eye appeal (for me anyway).

It´s a personal taste of mine. I prefer my Sestertii unpatinated because I just like that yellow tone :)

Fair enough. And what an awesome portrait series you have there!

Thanks :). That picture is a year old and a work-in-progress. But I did some improvements since then - replaced the five casts with original Sestertii, managed to upgrade five of the others, and added five new portraits, so I might do another group photo in the near future.

I'd be skeptical. A die-match doesn't rule out a cast fake; it may simply mean that someone made a mold from a real coin.

    That's a wonderful presentation!!!

From the photo, I'm as unsure as you are but I'm very leery of it and would have to have some reasonable assurances from a reputable dealer especially because even worn examples (like the one posted below) seem to sell for over $200 hammer and quite a lot more for higher grades.
