This isn't a coin, but I am hoping someone out there can help me identify the significance of it so I can research it and price it. It is a sterling silver lapel pin about the size of a US Quarter. V1.JPG

Some sort of "Victory" pin? WW2? Is that ships and a plane on the right? Says its a merit award.

I thought too, but have researched US military medals and find nothing similar. Thanks for your reply.

I know the British hung stars in the windows of their homes, one for each family member lost in combat.
Could it be a pin for that sort of thing?

This looks more like my pin than anything I have seen in my research. Thank you for your reply. It will give me something to go on.
