Sweet!!! It's always a treat to find Wheats!!! Lol. My favorite decade of pennies to find!!! Where did you find this jewel??
Young?? Pffffft. I'm 35yo in a 60yo body. Been doing manual labor since I was 7. So yes I'm old but I'm a dependable daily driver.....lol
I know what you mean. I still feel like a young boy about to try on his first pair of long pants when I find one of these this old in change. Just never let the feeling leave you, and you'll have a future of nothing but enjoyment in this hobby, just trust me when I tell you.
I've already had a blast. And other people might not think what I've found so far is significant, or worth anything. But that's not what I'm in it for. I don't care about the value. Don't get me wrong, I love money, but I have plenty of coins cased up that aren't worth anything at all......except to me. All my finds are from Pocket Change Pillaging. I'm hooked!!!! The healthiest disease I've ever had!!! Lol
@matty, just look at it this way. Ninety nine per cent of the coins that are in collector hands today were found in loose change. That's just the way it was. Of course it's much harder today than say 50 years ago to find anything significant but it can be done. Never give up.
I am but a mere lowly droid by the side of a true Jedi not worthy to shine boots am I. AKA site Newb. But thanks.
