Can anyone recommend a cheap scope that shows true colors? My scope is good but It won't show copper color. Everything is a crisp silver even my pennies. Thanks, Tom.

That's probably caused by your lighting.
    Too bright washes out color.

Lighting does play a roll in it. I bought a cheap one off of amazon and am really satisfied with it for the most part. The real color issue with cents bothers me but I can get over it for the price.

What sort of scope do you have? It's quite possible that it's not capable of effective color imaging; a trick I use - even with better equipment - is to shoot serious magnification in monochrome, as color can sometimes hide details. One absolute truth is that with optics, one gets what one pays for. Good stuff is not cheap, and no amount of software processing is going to hide the limitations of inferior optics.
