Granted, some people do ask for images of the other side, but it's really only necessary for things like misaligned dies, clashes, etc. You can't always rely on markers from the other side because a die for one side can be changed while continuing to use the other die. Chris
No? What is he asking about in the title? I suppose that the wheat ear he is referring to is on the obverse. Correct? Chris
Ok I kinda had the " reverse , adverse" thing both meaning the tails side some people said adverse is most respected coin opp calls it a "reverse", I was told calling the " tails " end was more respected on here do what's the best one to say on here so I know thankyou
This editing thing just is not working right what is better to call the tail end adverse or reverse and Cris no the wheat ears are on the back of penny lol
I checked them and rechecked them and came up with this one . How about a image of the date and mint-mark . I need it for placement . http://varietyvista.com/01a LC Doubled Dies Vol 1/1957DDDO001.htm
I know. I was just making a point for someone else. FYI, "adverse" is not a term used in numismatics. Chris
Now, take a look at the site I posted . See if you can match any of the doubling from that site, to your coin . Then of course, take a picture ...
I'm looking at them some do look the same as the penny I have will try to get the pics but I'm using my cell phone so bear with me lol
Still working on this Wheatie too getting frustrated is there a program I can get that would take my pics then put another pic over it to compare?
