Good work i should have counted how many cents i used it didnt occur to me i decided to put a couple layers of cents in some spots to help create texture but it makes the epoxy extra thick and trublesome. Lol
I thought about doing layers in some spots as well to give it a 3D effect and also fill in gaps but I realized it wouldn't work. It would be difficult to make a smooth epoxy surface on an uneven layer. It would also increase the cost due to more epoxy.
I did up to 3 layers of coins in some spots and got an even surface you just have to do the epoxy in sessions do a thin layer wait 2 days do another wait 2 days then do the final pour worked for me
Not sure ill find out i have to fimd a bigger scale than mine probably 2 or 3 lbs including the epoxy and the canvas its on
Right having piles leftover after searching for stuff it seemed like a good idea to meplus maybe i can sell it for more than just turning the coins into the bank orba coinstar
I planned to do a wheat cent floor in my bathroom and have sorted through tens of thousands of cents so far, but need a couple thousand more to get it done. My issue is that I want clean coins without verdigris or black spots, so it’s taking forever. Here’s my piles and what I plan to do when I have enough.
That is alot of wheat pennies i only need 18 more wheats to finish my collection not to bad i have a bunch of duplicate wheats maybe we could work a trade
We got this poster at a local art show a few years ago. The artist does original drawings based on coins and medals.
