I use Mylar currency holders. I organize them into pages in a binder. The binder goes in a safe. The safe also has silica gel in it. I order all my supplies from jpscorner.com as they are the cheapest and they have been pretty good to me in the past.

    Gatzdon hit it.

Get good holders and another binder to put them in does not hurt.
Treat them like a coin that you're proud of and then some. Paper bends a lot easier.

I like capital holders for my more expensive notes. I prefer metal screws over the plastic type capital uses, but the one brand i saw that does use the metal types, wasnt as good a quality holder as capital. The capital holders come in 2 1/4" pieces that fit together with 6 plastic screws. they are priced at around $13 each, which is why i only put my more valuable notes in them.

aside from my capital holder prefferance, i agree with Clembo "Treat them like a coin that you're proud of and then some. Paper bends a lot easier."

Capital holder do rock Daggarjon .

I recently posted pics of my Black Eagle here on CT and that note is in a nice Capital. Well worth the money for a nicer note.

    Mylar holders are the best
If you have enough of them, they make a damned good matress!
    LOL

I never thought of silical gel in a safe gatzdon
That makes perfect sense. Keeps moisture away

I as well agree with what has been said in the above reply's. One thing to consider is the composition of the notes you collect. With the many different paper combinations and polymers available today, I look at what I am collecting, the environment in which I live, the way I handle the notes and base my protection on many of those varaibles.

I think you have have some good advice, but do your research as well for what you have. Look into the inks, the absorbancy of the paper materials, humidity, the frquency in which you expose the notes to light and general enviromental conditions and make your selection.

    Good luck..
