Looks like a nice unmolested example of N-1 1/2. (The profile looks to have slight doubling, but it’s tough to see in the image). VG-8 seems about right.
Maybe even as high as F-12. $20 seems fair if there's no damage or cleaning. Often with these old largies there is some damage. Sometimes you can go through some junk bins and find coins like this for $5 or $10.
