Hi! Correct me if I'm mistaken but I just saw a listing on Ebay (#300167840837) for a 1979-S SBA Type 2 Dollar graded by PCGS as a PR68. First of all, I've never seen a graded PCGS that looks like that, and secondly, this coin looks more like a Type 1. Can someone take a look and let me know? Thanks!

Howdy---I moved this out of the AUCTION forum as that is where members post links to their own items.

    Thanks

Pardon my asking, but what is the difference between the type 1 & 2?

i think they are talking about the 1979S proof with a clear S instead of a filled s.

Based on the pics in that auction there is no way to tell if it is a 1 or a 2. I would take the word of PCGS that it is a type 2.

However, if I were looking to buy - I would pass on this coin.
