I personally have no interest in buying this but it is a cool piece. This is an altered coin, whether it was done by the Zippo company IDK but cool as heck in my opinion. It has a bezel which means it was worn by someone as a necklace or a charm. No need to get it certified or graded. By the way Zippo does repair their lighters for free.
What makes you think that the coin is a proof strike? I see no indication that this would be the case.
@Grace Gleason Your Cent is not a proof Cent and it is damaged. I know a guy who sells these at a flea market for $2.00 each I created a thread once on new versions that I bought from him - https://www.cointalk.com/threads/encased-cents-zippo-lucky.290648/ These are mine -
And thus the Motto . . . repairing a Zippo costs you not one cent because the Company does it for free! PS: That's a Kool collection!!! Semper Fidelis
