I know next to nothing about collecting paper money, but I could not pass these up. I got these for $15 plus $3 shipping and they included a bicentennial token I would have gladly paid $3 for. Therefor, I figure I got these for face value. They are all consecutive and crisp. No folds anywhere. How much are they worth? They are all canceled April 13th, 1976 (the day of issue, I have discovered). Does this increase, decrease, of not affect the value? All have the same stamp except the first. Does this mean anything as to their value? Any help appreciated.
You did well rim. Not as popular as they once were but I'd give them at least double face value. Maybe more depending on potential buyers. My local dealer used to sell them at $4 each.
Those are neat, I like them. $2 bills have always seemed interesting to me I always thought the $2 bills were pretty uncommon though...I started working at a bank recently and I see them all the time. I have a couple in my box at work and I can't get rid of them. :rolling:
Might I suggest learning a lot more about currency? You have the currency collector's "dream job" as it were and there's a lot to be found if you know what to look for.
