[Ancients] Looking for a few Volunteers to Help With a CT Game I Plan to Host

Hello friends! In the spirit of the holiday season I thought it might be fun for the group if I hosted a holiday giveaway game. I prefer hosting games in place of simple ‘name from a hat’ style giveaways because I think it gives us all a chance to interact in a different and fun way!

I will be providing 5 ancient coins from my collection that will find 5 new homes at the end of the game. However I do need the help of 4 regular contributing CoinTalk members that don’t mind not being eligible to win the prizes. (Though hopefully will still have fun commenting and posting on the threads!) The object of the game will be to match an anonymous coin with its owner and participants who guess will be eligible to win one of the coins.

From the 4 volunteer CT members I would need the following;

• A high resolution photo of a coin from your collection that you have never previously posted on CoinTalk. (Sent by PM please )
• A brief description (4 sentences or less) of why you like the coin and why you decided to add the coin to your collection! (also by PM )

In the next week or two I will post a master thread explaining the rules in detail and we can get started. If you are interested in helping out please send me a PM and let me know.

Update: we have 1 volunteer so far so only 3 more needed.

 

I wouldn't mind being a volunteer, but I think most, if not all, my coins have been shown here. So I guess I will just play the game

 

I'm sure there are coins I have not posted but they are not ones that I could write up reasons why I like.

 

I was about to PM you but then I realized... all of my ancients have been gifted to me . So the person who gifted them to me, well, they would win.

@Curtisimo, would you require coins posted more than ten times each I might contribute, but those never posted, well, I don't think of any of mine, unfortunately

I have coins that I haven't posted before. I'm happy to volunteer if you still need one.

 

I will volunteer as well. Lord know that I’ve won enough, so I will gladly take a helper role and give up any chance of winning.

 

Thank you to everyone who offered to help! While I was away last night I had a great many volunteers who messaged me to volunteer (this community is awesome ). I will be accepting the help of the first 4 who messaged me. Either way I will respond with my thank you to all who offered.

Mostly I just want to give my fellow CT friends a chance to interact and have fun. Also I will give some stuff away in the spirit of the season and to show my appreciation to all the people who make this forum awesome! You and the other mods are appreciated and are welcome to participate as well @desertgem!

Now everyone please give me $5,000 to enter the game... just jokes!
