I found this penny and was wondering if anyone has seen anything like this. The penny have several "D's" on the obverse and reverse. It also has them in the date, initials on the back of the coin and several on Lincoln. It also appears that the letters "YBD" r on the bottom left of Lincoln's coat.
I have several more pictures as well.
    Is it worth anything?

    Post-mint damage. Worth $0.01, IMHO.

Did you have to create second thread for this when you got an answer? 1 cents zinc rot and plating blisters.

    Thanks,

You are, of course, correct regarding the culprit; good job!

That said, and with the understanding multiple threads can be frustrating, she is new to the forum and not all "answers" provided here are always correct. If placing myself in a new member's shoes, it has to be tough trying to figure out who knows what they're talking about, and who simply pretends. On the bright side, the two threads will give @desertgem something to do. ;)

And welcome to the forum, MariaC!
