I concur; the diagnostic obverse die crack in the left stars is visible here. A nice variety, not easily found in higher grades although there's one ridiculous MS66 out there. I see it as a terrific strike, slightly circulated, with surfaces which are probably not completely original but very much market-acceptable. AU55 at worst and well-bought if you got it for under $500 IMO. I think this one trades at a premium for eye appeal, although a second set of images might temper my enthusiasm somewhat.
It was about the only coin I was targeting that didn't have a reserve on it thankfully and was able to get it for $425 + 10% BP. Glad to hear that was a good price as I don't know this series, I just saw it in hand and had to have it. My hand was still in the air when it thankfully hammered. Every other potential addition to my type set I was after had reserves 10%+ above my max, was really frustrating but glad I didn't get completely shut out and met some good folks at the same time.
