you can buy the gold coins for less in the aftermarket though. Last time I checked before I bought one, The standing lib generally was going for slightly under $400, whereas at the mint it was $470. Why pay the premium?

The prices have floated back down. If you wait for a OGP you can pick them up for $200ish +/-. someone was lucky and got one for $128 a couple weeks ago.

 

OGP is the only way I'd ever consider it. You can keep the slabs.
