1970 penny Maybe improper alloy mix I am not an expert I do not know please

    I found this Penny it stands out to me I'm not sure if it's a minting error please help me thank you in advance

    Looks like plain old discoloration to me, but I'm not sure. The obverse certainly doesn't look like the sort of striations one would expect to see from an improper alloy mix. The stripe across the reverse is interesting, though. However, I suspect that's more because the coin had a narrow strip of tape or a rubber band across it at one time - something like that. (That's only a hunch, though.)

    Environmental damage is my vote.
