I'm mainly interested in coins but I ran into a gentleman whom is interested in selling few of these bills. I'd like to know if it's worth buying for around $600 each and are there any high quality fakes I should watch out for. Sorry for the crappy pictures.
Looks real. But you would have to take it to an expert. If they aren't worn, torn, wrinkled, folded, stained, they are worth $600 or more. The ink on this one seems very dark. As if it hadn't faded at all. But it may have been kept in a protective environment. I believe with the $5000 and $10,000 they have a list of all the surviving serial numbers. Always wanted a $500 but I don't know what I would do with it.
Michael is correct, notes of this grade type (and it does look pretty good) generally sell in the $700-750 range ungraded. I would buy it if I had the chance.
When I get a note worth keeping I put it in a ziplock baggie set it on a hard surface and put a heavy hard cover book on it flattening it and leave it. It takes the crease away but not the damage. Thanks, Jacob
I'm afraid if I bought paper money that it would get creased in the mail, Are these paper dollar holders legit, should I not worry about them getting creased at all
