1992 D quarter

    Hi was wondering if this quarter has an error or its been damage. looks like the word " IN" next to Washington face.

    Looks incused into the field which means damaged.

    No. Somehow another coin was impressed into the surface. The raised letters from the other coin caused an incused image on your coin. But it occurred outside of the Mint.

    how can you tell it was incused and not a stike error?

    (31 years experience collecting Mint Errors)
    It actually looks like it took a hit from the reeding of another coin. It's common.

    It looks incused and not raised.

    well thank you for the your knowledge. i also have these if you can a look to see any of them are rare.

    Cent #3 the 1969 D has a nice Misaligned Die Strike

    All the rest of the Coins look like normal circulated coins

    One cent. They are very common.
