I opened 1969 s penny roll today

Went to the bank picked up more penny rolls and one is almost all 69 s while looking I think I have finally a double die so took a pic and hoping I'm right don't know the value of it if it is any help would be appreciated

Where do you see doubling?

 

Sorry, It doesn't look like it to me. It would be very noticeable if it was the big doubled die. Keep looking, and maybe you will get lucky sometime!

 

In states the both s's the e I'm not sure if it's doubled or a planchet error the penny is in really good condition does not look deteriorated at all

 

69-S DD is incredibly rare, and the doubling is obvious to the naked eye.

 

Yep I agree when I looked at the roll I can only say the conditionof these pennies someone had these out of circulation for sometime look at the e on the bottom pic Is it maybe a new error if not doubling

And the correct terminology is Doubled Die.. Not Double
