http://www.coinflation.com/coins/1878-1921-Silver-Morgan-Dollar-Value.html Honestly, not much more than that.
First, welcome to the neighborhood, Tom! Your question can't be answered without photos and/or a specific grade from one of the TPG's. Chris
It depends on condition. If it's really worn and ugly, $15. Circulated but nice, maybe $20+. Nice uncirculated, $40+. A photo would help.
I don't know why, nor do I even want to, but here you go gentlemen.... https://www.cointalk.com/threads/morgan-dollar-2.305800/
If you even bothered, 1918-1920 they melted over 200 million dollar coins, realizing the mistake, because of currency outstanding they cranked out 86 million 1921's
It was more like 270 million melted under the Pittman Act, and yes, I did know about the 1921 Morgan. It would have been really strange if I hadn't because I collected Morgans for 60 years. That is what this thread was about. The 1921, right? Some of the posts I've read today are crazy. Did some of you forget to take your logic pills? Chris
That was uncalled for and I too have been in Morgans for for 55 years. total melt 333 million to 1964, 1980 melt unknown
Yes, it was called for! This was your first comment....... Besides 1921, what other years after 1918 did the US Mint strike Morgan dollars? Chris
look at my post do you see the word "Morgan". Just give it a rest, or do we both get kick out....................
