Hey Everybody, How's it goin? I mentioned a few days ago that I was getting a cat thanks to my sister. She actually had everything set up before she called me. I would like to introduce you all to Bear: He's a very good boy. He's just discovered my bearded dragon, Herbert, and is stalking his every move. lol So, feel free to post pics of your pets and animal coins because they're both pretty rad. Here's a pic of my lizard/big kitty cat Chersonesos hemidrachm: Thanks! Erin
That's my boy Princeton from back I'm Feb/March. He was put down two weeks ago. Saying goodbye is the worst part of pet ownership. At least he got to travel the world a bit. That's Remington, my "son's" puppy. We got him back in April. My wife's kitten Charlotte who climbed into the cabinet as I was putting dishes away. No ancient dog or cat coins here...so here's a random ancient coin:
Bear looks sweet, my dog Lola likes cats, other dogs, and balls , for a Parson Russell she behaves excellent, after 3 Parson males who were a disaster. According to Caesar Millan, Jack Russell males are the only dogs , who are not trainable.
They don't keep dragging out old emotional baggage and chewing you out. They do occasionally drag out real baggage and chew on it
Precisely. And having the real baggage getting chewed on is more than worth the price of their being so consistently agreeable.
From 1947 through 1955 the only currency we as American military personnel and dependents had available to us in Occupied Austria was MPCs; if only either my parents and/or I had known enough then (but realistically, how could we?) to hold onto some of those vari-colored, then completely common and now-valuable beauties!
As much as I believe in Milan's knowledge and expertise on dogs, I can't reconcile his observation above with the performance of Eddie the dog on TV's Frasier. Eddie's real-life name was Moose and he was an essential part of the series until he died, at which time he was replaced with another (look-alike) male Jack Russell who performed equally well. Both of these dogs seemed to be extremely well trained, judging by how well they performed on the show.
Mea maxima culpa. Never in my wildest dreams would I wilfully slander numismatically-purist felines. May the furry coin gods pardon my faux pas (fur paw)!
Thanks for posting everybody! I'm so sorry about Princeton, Jwt708. Saying goodbye is definitely hard. Here are my other 'children', Herbert, Achoo and Novie: Erin
My 10yr old Blue is my Avatar. She is 1/3 Basset, 1/3 Beagle, and 1/3 Australian Shepherd. One of the most loving dog I have ever owned. I traveled much in my career (approx 3.5 million air-miles).
