With the vast majority of the box 2017D it didn't take very long.
Have a box of 80% 2017D. And since Trish (boss lady) said she buy the box Friday, all I must do is figure out where to get another box.

Took me forever to find 1 17D to put in my book. I had several solid 17P's though. Ugh.

I have had a really hard time finding anything this year. Maybe because I am spending much less time looking but MAYBE there is just too much competition in my area. I suggest you guys all give up and give me a chance...

As I know this suggestion will not be greeted with the enthusiasm it deserves, I offer you these pictures from today:

    That's 1 Rosie, 1 Benny, 15 64's and 23 40%ers from $47.50 in halves from one bank.

    FINALLY!

And I found one Walker yesterday. Maybe my luck has changed...

    $25 CWR Cents: 41, 46, 48 (x2), 51-D, 53 (x2), 57, 58-D, and 504 copper cents

$134 CWR Nickels: skunked on silver and just 34 average circulated coins ranging from 39-59

    $200 CWR Dimes: Skunked

We're expecting the first cold snap of the year here in the mid-Atlantic over the next two days so I'm laying on a few extra rolls to search while I'm waiting on the weather to improve enough later in the weekend to get on after the fall yard work. With what I picked up yesterday and assuming the usual number of rolls from my "go to" branches of the local CU, I'll have $50 in cents, $150 in nickels, and $300 in dimes to work through. Yep. That sounds much better than blowing leaves around the yard in 30-degree weather. :)

My most recent $25 cent-box wasn't as fruitful as the past few. Found 3 QE Canadians and 9 wheaties: 3x57d, 53, 48, 47, 44, 36, and (the best of the bunch) a 1918. This is officially the oldest coin I've found roll-searching so far.

Out of the remaining 9 penny rolls from the 2017D box I got 8 solid 2017D rolls. This gives 15 which I will probably try the second bank on Monday. Still haven't figured out where to get another box.

That's more than what I got recently from CRH! Good score.

    $50 Cents ($25 BWR/$25 CWR): Undated wheat, 13, 34, 44, 44-D, 46, 48-D, 50-S, 51-D (x2), 53-D, 54-D (x2), 55, 57, 57-D, and 1038 copper cents. The '13 is beat up and corroded, but I still love knowing something 100+ years old is out there in the wild.

$134 CWR Nickels: 1 war nickel (44-P) and a 1883 Swiss 20 Rappen. I'm a little astounded that my new "oldest coin from circulation" is Swiss!

    $300 CWR Dimes: 52-D, 59, 60, 63

    $21 CWR Halves: 66, 67, 68 (x4)

Not a bad day "mining" around here. :-D

I went to the second bank thinking to get $10 traded.
But I asked about a box and they had some.
Just checked about seven rolls and they are mixed and NOT all 2017. This makes me feel very happy!

My last four boxes for the week are skunks, so that is 12 boxes skunked for this week. The week was not a total loss,I picked up $290 in MWR scored 1-64D and 1-69D out of the first 20 rolls, the other 9 rolls are all NCIF from the MINT. 3-Rolls 2001, 1-D and 2-P's, 1-2002P, 1-2003P, 1-2004D, 1-2005D, 2-2006 1D, 1D. I wish you all the best and hope you all have a wonderful weekend. I have three mint rolls up for trade, 2003P, 2004D, 2006P. If I was to break them open and try to sell them on eBay I would ask a dollar per coin. If anyone wants to trade please use that info in considering a trade. Get out this weekend and have some fun [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG] Nov16 17 finds-ccfopt.jpg

1 bank tonight yielded $410 in halves. 4 rolls of the which were mint rolls like Arby’s above, but 2006P and D and 2007P and D. Others were CWRs including UNC bicentennials, 2012P and D, 2013P and D, and 2014P and D.

But the best part was the roll of uncirculated ‘69Ds!!!
