I would buy coins from JJ Teaparty. They are expensive, but you get a nice quality product for your money. I would not buy coins from Coast to Coast.
Concur. Their maple leafs are base - $23.95 as compared to APMEX current base - $17-19. Also, at Brian Jenner from CoinWorld, they're listed at $16.95. peace, rono
Howdy, Actually I've had decent luck with Paul Sims, although folks around here says he dips his BU's. Mostly I bought ASE's from him and dipping is moot. I did return a 'bu' merc and rec'd a beautiful coin in it's place. Didn't care for Sartosi. I liked dealing with G&F (GF) CW ad but got some nice FS Jeffersons. I've dealt with Dave's (buffalo guy) and he's been fine. I've bought bullion stuff from APMEX without a problem. Here in central Michigan, I frequent Liberty Coins (Lansing) and Kellys (just moved to Charlotte. The former let me cherry pick their stock and the latter has given me some great prices buying and selling. I'm most intrigued by the Collectorscorner at the certified coin exchange although I haven't bought anything . . . yet. Oh, and BTW, I'm not associated with any of the above dealers - just trying to share my experiences. peace, rono
Oddly enough out of all the on line coin dealers there are, I've only purchased from two. vtcoins and millersmint. Normally I just go to coin shows or flea markets but Just out of curiousity I tried those two. millersmint had a massive inventory but prices were a little on the high side. I used vtcoins back when he was more or less starting and prices were very decent, fast delivery and mainly coins were as advertised. I used to get irritated with that web site though due to they would leave all sold coins on the list in an attempt to make it look like they had great buisness. All in all the only ones I'd try again, maybe, someday.
