I've seen a few coins for sale from Kurdistan... now I know it's not a country (for now, at least) and these all seem to be from Iraqi Kurdistan, so what are they? Are they just Iraqi Dinars with Kurdistan printed on them, or is it something separate?
They are not "from Kurdistan" but fantasy issues. This dealer for example has some of them: http://www.joelscoins.com/iraq.htm#kurdset Whether they were made on behalf of some exile Kurds, as fundraisers maybe, or by companies that simply wanted to make money with "coins" of non-existing countries, is hard to tell.
