I don't see anything out of the ordinary such as Fancy Serial #'s

    $1.00 each

Actually paddy I have seen these sets, in their original folder, in CU condition usually go for around $20-$25.00. Providing there is no damage anywhere including to the folder.

Nothing actually, just dealer mark up. Hope I did not step on your toes with the post. I can't really remember what they were originally sold for by the BEP but there was that cost figured in also.;)

I think the fact that they appear uncut and in good condition,
    there is a small premium.

The serials are close if it had all 9's that's a biggie.
High number and 8 of a kind.
Or 7 9's in a row and then any.

The 4 uncut bills are in the folder which holds the bills and provides info. The folder is in the original hard cardboard mailing envelop. Everything seems to be in excellent shape.

Also in the envelop I found an order form. Back in 1986 you could have ordered 4 uncut bills for $10.25, 16 for $28.00 or 32 for $47.00 dollars4.jpg

Go to www.bep.gov and you can still order these. Great to use as wrapping paper for perfume or jewelry. Only wrapping paper I know of that you recycle by spending.

I would love to have that older BEP order form.

I have many older 4-subject sheets and folders.

    Hi Steve

The order form is in the mail. I also included other documents that may fit I into your collection. Let me know when you receive and if they are of interest to you.

    Happy collecting,

I bought a sheet like these at a coin shop six or seven years ago. I was looking at coins and it was in the bottom of the case with a bunch of mint sets covering it. I asked the guy how long had it been there and he said that it had been in there so long that he didn't remember even having it. He dug it out dusted it off and said, if you want it I'll take $5 bucks, if you don't, I'll take $4. I said I don't want it but you can throw it on the pile. He laughed and put it with the other stuff that I got. I can't even remember the series now but still have it in the bottom of my desk.

It's in another state at the moment, or maybe it's me that's in another state. Either/or I will when I return home.

So often it's these throw aways, that turn out to be something good.
Watch one of them will have a good serial, or it will be web notes or something.
