They all came out of either mint sets or proof sets. All of them are near perfect coins that have been in the goverment packaging, and removed and put into 2x2 zipped bags waiting to go into an album.
I like to list them and see if anyone can give me a ballpark price for the entire lot. There are 72 coins total, they are 66sms,67sms,68d,69d,70ds,71pds,72pds,73pds,74pds,76pds,76 silver ms & proof,77pds,78pds,79pds,80pds,81pds,82s,83s,84pd,85pds,86pds,87pds,88pds,89pds,90pds,91s,92pds,93pds,94ps,& 96pds.
Thats all of them, any prices will be apprieciated.

    Kennedy prices

Well the main thing here is how much will a potential buyer pay? You can get prices all day long but in order to sell you need an interested buyer. For pricing on the Internet you can go to www.numismedia.com
However the higest grade priced free is MS-60. You have to sign up and pay for higher grade prices.
Next you can buy a 2008 Redbook for a general idea.
Lastly the PCGS website has prices, but for slabbed and graded coins. What I usually do to set a price is look at all three guides mentioned above. Then I search eBay for a similar coin to see what buyers will pay.
    A lot of work, yes.
You can also just take the collection around to a few dealers and see what they offer.
Don't forget the "open" forum right here on Coin Talk. Once you have a set price you can offer the coins for sale here at no cost to you. Even if you do not have a set price you can offer them for sale to the best offer. You can get a general idea by using any of these methods. But just a small warning now, not everyone likes Kennedys. One of my local dealers will not touch a Kennedy. He says they will sit on the shelf and not sell. He has no call for Kennedys. So what I did with mine is sell two sets of mostly nice circulated 1964 to 1985 for $24 [each set] to a dealer just to dump them. Then I sold another set of 1964 to 1985 [missing the 1964-D] for $45 at a yard sale to someone who appreciates Kennedys.
All 3 sets were in the Whitman blue folders #9699. What I am doing with the rest of my Kennedy half collection is just sitting on it. And I have plenty of them. But maybe someday this series will be more popular. For now I am just holding.
