Please include me. When will we have the airing of grievances and the feats of strength?

As much as I've enjoyed participating in previous years, I'm going to have to miss this one as I'm out of town until end November, and by the time I can choose a suitable coin and get it sent out to anyone in the US or elsewhere, it may not reach them in time. I've also always felt guilty when I see the crazy USPS international postage fees my previous Secret Santas have had to pay to send their gifts to me, so I was in two minds about joining the exchange this year anyway.

I did want to say that it has always been fun to give and receive during our little CT Secret Saturnalia exchange, and I'm sure those participating this year will have a blast. As always, thanks to our Lord of Misrule, @John Anthony!

For what it's worth Z I would have zero heartburn sending a secret saturnalia gift to anyplace in the world. To my mind Christmas is not the time of year to quibble about postage :) I bet most members would agree.

Plus I think it's great we have so many international members that are so active. It makes CT a funner place to hang out.

It's my goal to be able to participate in the Secret Santa one year.

But, until then, I can't wait to see what everybody gets!

Pics or it didn't happen! :vulcan:

Here's a bit of shipping advice. You can ship most small coins from the US to most countries with reliable postal systems for only a few dollars. Use a small, 4x6 bubble mailer and ask for it to be mailed as a non-machinable letter. If you use a large envelope with customs declaration, that costs at least $15. Of course the post office prefers that you spend more money than less, but it just isn't necessary for a single coin. I've mailed coins that way to most every country in Europe, Canada, Australia, and Singapore, and not a single one was ever lost KNOCK ON WOOD!

Great to hear the support for international members. The CT Ancients team rocks! Ok, what the heck, I'm in... and will pray to the postal gods that ~3 weeks will be enough to get my gift to wherever it's supposed to go.

I would love to participate but unfortunately I am so financially strapped this year that I won’t be able to do so. I will enjoy watching you guys have fun and hopefully next year I will be able to join in. I mean, if I happened to get Bing or C to the G (Curtisimo) or Deacon Ray or Zumbly..what on earth would I do? Yeah! I better sit this year out.

Z, I think you accidentally locked the conversation when you sent me a PM - I can't reply to it. But I will pair you with someone tomorrow and send you another PM letting you know who it is.
