I say not. It's a serial number that will happen only once in that bill series... Just like all the other serial numbers will happen just once. It's an interesting serial number but not a Fancy Serial # in my book. Others will say it's a cool serial # and probably to post it over at the old "666" paper currency thread.
It happens all the time because newcomers think it is required to add a poll to their thread. Unfortunately, once they click on it, there is no turning back. The poll must be completed. As a result, we get a lot of useless ones like this. I've asked @Peter T Davis on numerous occasions why the word "OPTIONAL" can't be added at the beginning of the poll, but I've never received an answer. It appears that we are stuck with it. Chris
That's because @Peter T Davis is like the Great Oz. Nobody has proven to me that he actually exists, though I do get nice automated birthday cards from him.
It's a neat serial number but not one that would be highly collected. If you like it keep it...if not spend it. It's not really worth more than the $1 face value.
Not talking about the fed district prefix letter, the serial number will be the same for all 12 districts. The serial number is not unique. There are 12 identical serial numbers for that year/series/ signatures.
