    The latest addition to my Easterns is a Shapur II.

    Probably be my last eastern for the year.

    AR Drachm
    O: Crowned bust right.
    R: Fire altar with bust of Ahura-Mazda in flames, and with two attendants.

    Very nice @Mat ! I always find these coins unusual with the "hair balls" on the bust.

    I have Shapur I in AE...

    I was out and about earlier - here is my Shapur II I mentioned:

    SASANIAN EMPIRE. Shapur II, 309-379 AD. AR Drachm (24 mm, 3.77 gm).
    Crowned draped bust / Fire-altar with attendants, bust in flames.
    Göbl.106v. Toned VF.

    Congrats, Shappy 2 seems kind of tough! I settled for an ex-mount coin (Eastern mint style):
