Another 1959-P Oddity - the "T" in LIBERTY is not proportionate.

    Notice the Left top of the "T" in LIBERTY is much longer than the Right. Any significance?

    If you look closely, you will see that machine doubling is the reason for the extension of the crossbar on the left side.

    Thanks. I noticed in Wexler's all the doubled dies "T"'s for 1959-P share this trait.

    That is true for hub doubling, but your coin was caused by machine doubling and is not a true doubled die.
