Circulation find this week. Got it in change. Nice shape despite a Center crease.

Having trouble finding out stats on this run. Seems most of the online lists only go to 1981. Any help?

Wow did you really find that in change? The oldest I have found is 1999!

    Thanks,
    Jacob

Series 1969C $10 Star, total printed was 640,000.

Nice circulation find. What is that brown stuff on the face ?

Great find and nice condition. However, don't think it has much of a premium over face value

Unknown. It's on the face. Chocolate maybe?

Thanks for the info. This one going into my personal collection I just like to know the series run count

I don't see the brown stuff. If you hold this note for 20 years it will prob. be worth $12. I do like the small heads, they look much nicer than the Third World Monopoly currency we have now.

The brown stuff is between the two “L’s” in the word Dollars at the bottom of the front of the note.

Ah, OK. I thought it was on the portrait.
Do you think it can be removed? Not a huge risk factor here.
I say that because it appears the foreign matter is sitting on top of the note and not an ingrained part of the fabric.

It's on the surface of the note and can probably be removed. I'm not too concerned but a damp cloth might take care of it.
