This is one I have been looking for, that I could afford, for a while and finally found one. Well, actually Martin found it and pointed it out to me. Thanks!

It's an early issue from Siscia.

Thanks. All Constans Horseman are a bit harder to find (I have 8 now) but RIC lists it as common from Siscia. This one was the hardest for me to find personally from the mint.

    Glad you got it.

I have just looked at mine and realise I need to take a new photo. The reverse is out of focus.

@dougsmit I kinda like yours more than mine. Martin has the best of the 3 posted.

Thanks. Here's this, as Doug has already answered you question.

    chrsmat71 I LIKE TURTLES!

I assume the 3 lines coming from the shield are some sort of ornamentation, but on RG's coin they look they are part of the star.

Alexandria is often my favorite mint in many periods. Sometimes it is not a matter of 'most lifelike' but there is just something cool about the way they did things.

There is a ,ot of confusion between Constantius I Chlorus ( which seems to be yours) and other coins,of Constantius ll, which seem to be the other coins shown by orher participants to this discussion...

That's one of my watch list :D but I'm holding off bidding on it (spent money already) Good luck :)

It's CONST-ANS PF AVG as are the coins posted by dougsmit and maridvnvm. Here is another example.
